challenge

I have shared here numerous posts on the things I do to live a frugal life including several money saving tips and tricks. You will find all of these under the “Frugal Life” tab here. I have also shared some of my money saving tips on other blogs, too, like Money Saving Mom and also on Living Well Spending Less when she invited other bloggers to share their best work.

In several of these posts, I have also shared how these tips have changed my life such as getting out of debt, learning things about myself and what I thought I needed to be happy, and how starting with graciousness accomplishes so many things including the opportunity to save some money at times.

For this reason, it is probably fairly easy to tell that I am passionate about saving money and helping others save money, too, which is what makes me so excited about this challenge.

If you are not familiar with Ruth Soukup and her blog, Living Well Spending Less, she is also passionate about sharing her frugal living discoveries and journey with her readers. For the month of October, she is hosting a challenge that she is calling Living Well & Spending Zero.

I have completed some of her challenges before, and if you’ve never participated in a challenge like the one I hosted in August with my Challenge to Finding True Contentment, you are in for some fun. There is something that is so amazing about doing something that is often rather challenging with a community around you. There is just something about knowing that there are others who are doing this hard work along with you that gives you the encouragement to press on.

I signed up for the Challenge to Living Well & Spending Zero, and you can to by clicking on any of the links I have provided here including this one: Living Well Spending Zero. You only have to fill in your name and your email, and you are good to go once you click on the confirmation email.

I am trying to encourage my friends and fellow bloggers to accept this challenge, and now I am sending you, my friends here, the same encouragement.

I don’t know a ton about this challenge since it’s Ruth’s challenge, but she was sitting in on my Periscope broadcast this morning and answered some questions and shared a bit of information, too. It is going to be life-changing, but it a fun, money saving way. What could be better?!

So, I would love for you to join me, and I think she said she has more than 20,000 people already signed up, in taking this Challenge to Living Well & Spending Zero. It is all about being frugal and living intentionally – two of my favorite things!

I have included a link to my Periscope broadcast by clicking on this katch link. You can learn more about it there by listening in as well as by reading the comments along the right side. Just scroll down and look for Ruth Soukup. Wherever you see her name, those are her comments.

If you join in signing up for this challenge, please tell me in the comments. I would love to know how many of you will be joining me over there! I know you will LOVE it. I know it won’t be easy, but I know you will never be the same!
