If there is one thing I know to be true in my family, it’s that things rarely go as planned. Whether it’s pretzel salt all over the kitchen floor, my husband being scheduled with his school on his workday, or kids who throw up in the car, things never seem to work out the way we think they will.
From where I sit, family life is all about being fluid, being flexible, and being able to think on the fly. That’s why this is one of my favorite quotes. John Wooden’s words are spot on here in family life, and in life in general – at least in my book.
