I’ve been inspired by Crystal over on Money Saving Mom who has been posting about the things she has loved each week. I decided it was a good thing to start doing. Feel free to join in with the five things you’ve loved this past week in the comments on this post. It would be fun to laugh and smile with each other.
This was busy yet productive week. We actually had this weekend off from all kids activities, which was such a welcome change. Next weekend we will be back in the grind again.
It is so hard to believe that July will be here soon. I have no idea where the summer has gone thus far. Maybe it’s because the weather has been cooler still. Last night it was in the low 50s, hard to believe for June.
I have had much to be thankful for, here is my list.
Friends. I know I said this last week, but I have to say it again. I have had some long and heartfelt talks with friends this week. I truly don’t know where I would be without them. Thanks girls, you know who you are 😉
A husband who works hard. We knew that nursing school would be hard in the midst of everything else, but we really had no idea. We are hoping things slow down next semester, but as of right now, he is getting three house of sleep a night. There are many times that I don’t get much more, but he is not someone who operates well on minimal sleep.
My Bible. It has been my lifeline this week, even more than normal. I simply couldn’t survive without it.
My Kindle. I don’t have a ton of time to read, but when I do have time to read, I love finding the book I need and being able to start reading it instantly. I have little money to splurge on things for myself, but when I save for awhile, I will almost always spend it on a book related to a topic I need to learn more about.
Sunshine. My daughter reminded me to get out and enjoy it even if just for a few moments. She is right, winter will be here before we know it. I have loved taking a minute to lay down in the grass to feel the sun on my face when I have gotten done hanging out the laundry.
What do you love this week?
These are so much fun! Here are the things I’m loving this week:
1. My family and getting to spend time with them.
2. The popularity of the Minions.
3. Getting to hear lots of thunderstorms on our trip to the Midwest.
4. Seeing people help each other.
5. TSA Pre-Check.
I’m probably your most random commentor ever, but I really do love all of this stuff. 🙂
Awesome! My list is pretty random, too. Since I have started keeping track of these things every Sunday, as the week goes on I make a mental note of something that really makes me smile as it is happening. It is amazing how it often is the most random of things! Thanks for sharing!
