If you are a reader here, you know that Sunday means it’s time for me to reflect back on the week I’ve had, sharing with you the things that have impacted me most.

It’s so amazing how easily life can pass us by if we don’t reach out and grab it! Finding things to savor during the week is a great way to do that.

I like to think about it as taking prolonged snapshots in my mind, because that is exactly what I do when I discover something that I know I will want to reflect on.

things I love

This cat

She was so very sick on Saturday to the point where should could hardly even lift her head, hadn’t been eating, and had been vomiting a ton for about 24 hours. Luckily, this has happened before and I had some leftover anti-nausea medication left to give her. This was her 24 hours later. Eating, drinking, walking around, and being her normal self. She is SO naughty…but when she is sick, I feel so bad for being mad at her sometimes 🙂

Goofy boys

Even goofy boys who walk around with underwear on their heads. They make me smile.

things I love

This bathroom

We’ve been invaded by the stomach flu. Every time we get it, which is way more than I care to think about, I am always so glad that I have a huge bathroom for the sick people to use. No one else needs to use this one or even come near it, which I am SO thankful for!

things I love

An efficient laundry system that is a huge money saver for us

I am so thankful to have the room I need to line dry our laundry. Each week I am able to do the laundry for nine people and only run my dryer five times or less when taking towels and sheets into account.

things I love

Nearly free stuff

I had some amazing coupons to use today, which means that I got all of these things for about $12. Most of it is from Yankee Candle, which I love but rarely splurge on. I guess for all of this, the $12 wasn’t too bad. I tuck these things away for when I’m having a hard day and need a pick me up. Then I give myself a little gift. You can read more about how that works in A Lifeline For When You’re Down in the Dumps.

What did you love this week? Feel free to share in the comments!
