“You want to do what?”

This is what my husband said to me when I told him I wanted to resurrect my blogging journey. He went on to tell me that he didn’t think I really needed one more thing to put on my plate. This was in late 2014.

Back in the mid 2000s, I had a family blog. It grew nicely, but then we put our house up for sale, we moved, and then we moved into our new house. And by that time, life had completely taken over and my blog fell along the wayside.

By late 2014, I knew I was missing something in my life, but I really couldn’t put my finger on it. As the end of the year approached, I finally realized that I missed my blogging days.

I missed the creative outlet.

I missed connecting with people.

I missed writing things that resonated with others and the way it made me not feel so alone as a wife, as a mom, and as a busy woman who struggled to keep on top of things.

In the end, my husband decided to support me in my blogging adventure…and our lives have never been the same.

This was my office view much of this past summer…so I ask you, what if this could be your office view?
