Because of this event last week, we are all a little shaken over here. Keeping a close eye on my son is always in the forefront of my mind. If I have to leave for a bit, his sisters are in charge of keeping him in their sight. I generally have the freedom to leave whenever I need to, and although I am generally home I have been hardly leaving the house since it happened. Tonight will be the first night I don’t sleep on the couch across from him at night.

When things shake me, it becomes a time that I rely even more heavily on my faith. That is the reason for our focus verse this week. We can all be reminded in what the very basics of faith are, and that is just what this verse speaks of. Hebrews 11 may just be my favorite chapter in the entire Bible. It’s all about faith.
