One of the things I am passionate about is being healthy and being active. I feel this is important not only for me, but also for my family to do, often together. I even shared some ideas in 5 Ways Your Family Can Get Healthy This Summer.

As I get older, I find that these things aren’t quite as easy as they used to be.

Having just had my eighth baby, I’ve got some baby weight to lose. Much of it I lose by exercising and maintaining an active lifestyle, but as they saying goes, you can’t exercise your way out of a bad diet. I have learned that you can’t eat whatever you want just because you exercise, but that sure would be nice!

I find that in order to not only lose baby weight but also to maintain a healthy body weight (that is the same as it was prior to having my eight kids) I have to be intentional in what I eat, making healthy choices and using reasonable portion sizes. Not overeating is also a big part of keeping my weight in check.

My issue with overeating is that my schedule often dictates that I don’t have a ton of time to eat three full meals a day, which means that I am famished when I finally do get to eating a meal. I am so guilty of just grabbing something on the go, which generally means that I am grabbing an unhealthy something.

One of the ways that I have found to overcome the tendency to overeat is to incorporate some extra fiber into my diet. This is where Meta Appetite Control comes in for me because it is clinically proven to help you reduce your appetite between meals. With every serving, the psyllium fiber in the powder thickens and forms a gel, which then helps me to feel full. I find that if I don’t feel full I grab a snack, but I tend to grab more of a snack than I need. As I’m sure you can imagine, this does not help with either losing the baby weight or maintaining a healthy weight on a daily basis.

This product really is a great fit for me because Meta Appetite Control is the #1 doctor recommended fiber brand with 100% natural psyllium fiber, and that makes all the difference.* It is a brand that I feel comfortable with, which means that it is a product I can feel comfortable with as well.

I generally incorporate Meta Appetite Control in the afternoon between lunch and dinner since this is the time of day that I am more prone to grab a snack, and it is amazing how it tides me over until dinner. As someone who is often on the go most of the afternoon and early evening, it also provides me with the energy I need to keep going during this busy time. I also love that it is quick to make and tastes really great, otherwise I would just go for the snacks! If something is too time consuming to make or tastes bad, I simply don’t end up using it.

As a frugal shopper at all the drugstores, I am in Walgreens at least once a week. This is why I love that Meta Appetite Control is available in the digestive wellness aisle at Walgreens nationwide.
