Do practice the art of setting weekly goals? It has been so useful for me to do this and to do it every week! I have always been one to set goals, but previously it has been a bit more sporadic. I have found consistency to be the key to success.

I am creating my goals assuming that today will be the day for my migraine to finally get under control – it has been three days now. I did get a small amount of pain free time last night, but it was very short-lived.

I have a deep clean of my kitchen planned for my homemaking goal this week. This is as a result of Crystal Paine’s Homemaking Challenge over on Money Saving Mom. I will share results of my clean kitchen as an update after I get it done. I am planning on this for my project today, but the migraine may prohibit this.

Here are my goals for this week:

Spiritual Goals:

  • participate in group three days a week
  • stay current in study

Wife Goals:

  • write a note of encouragement
  • continue reading in book

Mom Goals:

  • take 2 kids out on date
  • re-establsih nightly routine

Healthy Living Goals:

  • create new workout for Friday
  • decrease overall time by two minutes on seven miles

Homemaking Goals:

  • kitchen deep clean
  • reorganize school closet

Office Manager

  • pay taxes
  • schedule winter dr. appts

Blogging Goals:

  • finish reading book
  • complete two projects

Overall I had a good week, and I even took care of a few unexpected projects that came up. Overall I earned a B.

Spiritual Goals:

  • participate in group three days a week
  • write two new verse cards

Wife Goals:

  • read chapter in book
  • start making anniversary plans

Mom Goals:

  • take one child out on date
  • email scholarship info

Healthy Living Goals:

  • run 6 miles on weekend
  • drink 100 ounces water per day

Homemaking Goals:

  • organize garage sale stuff
  • deep clean one bedroom

Office Manager:

  • update calendar
  • pay bills

Blogging Goals:

  • complete one project
  • brainstorm 3 more series post
