Sundays are always a time of reflection on the week that has passed for me. I do take the time to pause as much as I can throughout the week on those moments that I just don’t want to forget.

If you haven’t taken the time to reflect back on what you’ve loved in the past few days, take the time to do it right now. You will be so happy you did!

My funny haired little boy. I have two kids with the craziest of hair. It’s really not even like hair so much, it’s more like a cross between hair and fur. I’m a hairdresser, and it baffles my mind. It always make me smile though 🙂

This centerpiece. My oldest daughter did this, and it really looks great. We are going to be getting the spring decorations out soon, but it was nice to have something fresh and new on the table.

I had some alone time with this guy while my husband took the other kids sledding in the enormous amounts of snow. He helped me make dinner. He loved trying to whisk the sauce!

Speaking of snow, here it is. If this really is our last winter here, I’m glad that we got dumped on for my kids sake. We even got the youngest outside for some sledding and some pictures so we can prove to him that he’s seen snow when he gets older

Little boys who are happy with simple things for dinner. I had the three little boys one night for dinner while the others were all gone. This is what they wanted for dinner. No problem.

  1. I absolutely love that you do this! We all need to be reminded of the good in our lives, even if the good is something that we forget is good in the moment (like snow storms!). I appreciate that you remind us all to remember to take time to pause, reflect and be thankful for the things that we have in our lives in the here and now so that we don’t get caught up in what we need to get done and how we plan to succeed tomorrow, next week, next month and next year!
