I’m not sure if anything says “fall” more than pumpkin seeds. And really, if you’re cleaning out the pumpkins to carve them anyway, the seeds are the huge bonus that you don’t want to walk away from.

The thing is, they are a super healthy treat, and with all the other treats your kids are probably getting this time of year this is one that you can actually feel good about.

We do switch up how we season ours at times, but this always ends up being the family favorite.

Your family will enjoy our easy pumpkin seeds as much as we do.

For this recipe you will need:

  • pumpkin seeds
  • olive oil (we use about two Tablespoons for two cups of seeds)
  • worcestershire sauce (we use about two Tablespoons for two cups seeds)
  • garlic salt to taste
  • seasoned salt, such a Lawley’s to taste

Our pumpkin seeds start with a trick right off the bat. Here’s the trick:

after you get most of the pumpkin off the seeds, don’t rinse them. Leave that little bit of pumpkin on them – it has amazing flavor! See?

Then, put everything in a bowl…just enough to coat well. We just mix them around with our hands…the kids have fun doing this!

Then, place in a 375 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
