IMG_3745Not a huge shopping trip this weekend. Most holiday weekends in the summer are pretty slow. I did get some great deals on a couple of things I needed though. My husband has been getting low on body wash, and as we have been organizing things around the house we have found so many sippy cups that no longer have their tops.

What you don’t see pictured here is paper plates. They are on sale this week, and I forgot them. Paper plates are among my frugal drugstore treasures from Walgreens. If you wait until they are on sale, you can get them for a really great price. They aren’t anything fancy, but they get the job done!

You can find great sale match ups at places like Money Saving Mom and hip2save. They have stores other than Walgreens in their match ups, Walgreens just tends to be the store I feature here.

This week I spent $16.89 and I came home with:

  • 8 Nivea body washes for my husband
  • 2 Playtex sippy cups

That’s it. Nothing more exciting than that. But, I will have to go back for the paper plates when I drive past tomorrow.
