Sundays are always a time of reflection on the week that has passed for me. I do take the time to pause as much as I can throughout the week on those moments that I just don’t want to forget.

If you haven’t taken the time to reflect back on what you’ve loved in the past few days, take the time to do it right now. You will be so happy you did!

 

This cup of coffee. I love this for two reasons. The first is that it is my incentive every afternoon to really make the most of my office hours. The second reason is because it was made by my personal barista. My kids take such good care of me, and I never have to make my own coffee anymore!

This book. It’s the one we’re using for book club this time around, and I could read it again and agin. I know that it will be a lifeline for me throughout my life.

This is a list of my husband’s school books from 2015. This picture is also here for two reasons. The first is that my taxes are done and sent off to my accountant 🙂 The second is that we are done buying textbooks. And we are almost done with school!

This boys “reading” books together. It really was so sweet.

This is my 13 year old son’s test. He is a more reluctant student. Not because he can’t be a good student but because he lacks the self discipline and self motivation to study properly…at least most time. This time around I told him that he would need to get a 90% or better, or he would be writing me a 2 page summary for each of the three chapters it covered. I guess that worked…at least this time around 🙂 He has the ability to be so smart, he just needs to recognize and tap into it!
