Do you have a dream? Do you even dare to dream anymore? Have the hardships of reality convinced you that dreams are only for us as little girls wearing dresses that twirl and whirl as we spin in glorious delight, planning what the future most certainly holds for us as adults?

I think as little girls, we share a common thread. That thread is that so often we dreamed dreams of having the picture perfect life filled with a handsome, attentive, nurturing husband with whom we would have well behaved, obedient, and clean, orderly, and pleasant children. We would live in a beautiful and expansive home with a perfectly manicured lawn that we would admire as we leave our long, winding driveway to take our bubbly and oh-so-sweet children to their music lessons or sporting event.

Yes, our lives would most certainly be the picture of beauty and ever-abundant joy. We would have no stretch marks or leftover skin, our hair would always be in place, and we would always be perfectly dressed for every occasion including the grocery shopping.

As we get older, life encourages us to abandon our dreams. Life dictates to us that our dreams must take a backseat to reality as though the two, dreams and reality, can’t occupy the same space. Life seems to lecture us over and over again about how dreams and reality can’t coexist.

If you have found yourself with dreams that you have felt forced to extinguish, let me give you some encouragement. Let me let you in on the secret that you don’t have to abandon your dreams and that dreams and reality really can occupy the same reality.

In fact, your dreams can become reality.

Let me tell you how I know this to be true.

Over the past few weeks, Crystal Paine has taught me this through her latest book, Money-Making Mom, and it couldn’t have come at a better time for me as life has thrown us a few unexpected curveballs.

From the beginning, it is easy to see that Crystal intends on being transparent, genuine, and personal through the words she puts on these pages.

She starts off by encouraging us to find our own voice, to uncover what it is that we are truly passionate about, and to then determine whether these two things are congruent with where our gifts and talents lie.

Through sharing her own story to becoming a money-making mom and also sharing the stories of other ordinary women who have achieved great things, she illustrates how a journey such as this will be filled with both trials and triumphs – and of course filled with plenty of hard work and determination. These stories and inspiration become the fuel that can give wings to our dreams. These struggles and successes show us that we can make our dreams move forward, but that life often makes them take a step or two back at times as well.

From there she gives countless examples of how to think outside of the box, to color outside of the lines, and to be prepared for continued growth, change, and learning well after we think we’ve “arrived.”

Inside the pages of Money-Making Mom, we are given a glimpse into the big picture of life in that through achieving our dreams, we can bless others. Often through accomplishing great things, even on a smaller scale, we can give back to others in ways both great and small. Is there any greater gift than being able to give to others?!

I am a dreamer, and I have spent my life knowing that through hard work and determination, we can all accomplish great things. At the same time, I can honestly say that I have never been so inspired to dream dreams, to work hard, and to face forward with unwavering determination.

If you have a dream, embrace it! If you have a dream, own it! If you have a dream, walk fearlessly forward armed with the knowledge, encouragement, and timeless wisdom that you can find within the pages of this book. Find validation in the struggles you have faced through the words that Crystal shares from her journey and the journey of others.

This book is the step-by-step manual to guide you on your journey whether it is a money-making journey or a journey to follow a dream of a different kind. You can preorder the book by going to MoneyMakingMomBook.com and get some amazing freebies as well. Dreams aren’t just for us as little girls anymore, and through our dreams, we can make a significant impact in our lives, in the lives of our friends and loved ones, and in the lives of countless others in some cases.

Do you have a dream? It’s time to set that dream in motion. You can do it!
