For those times when fear strikes us all, this verse is such a great reminder. Isaiah is one of my favorite books. I like how this verse gives us so many reasons to not give into the fear that we feel. No matter what we face, we need not fear.

Right now our future is unclear, and for someone who is a type-A, planning person, an uncertain future generally conjures up a feeling of fear.

I don’t know what life is like for you, but for me it seems like our “plans” never seem to remain on the horizon for very long before somehow that vision of our plans gets blurred. Then, over time, the plans always seem to fizzle and eventually fade away. If you’re like me, the lack of a clear path can be replaced with fear, but we don’t have to be fearful. We can find strength, encouragement, and hope in today’s verse from Isaiah. I am praying for His strength and wisdom today.

Today’s verse:
Is. 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand.
