I have been posting my weekly goals here for awhile and have found it to be so helpful. The process of writing goals, although does require some work, is so beneficial to actually accomplishing the things we need or want to accomplish.

In writing out my goals, I actually keep the written record after I complete each week because it helps motivate me to continue being intentional in how I spend my time. It also encourages me during those times when it feels like I have gotten nothing done.

We are back into full-time school here, which actually gives us more time in our day, believe it or not. Everything just runs like a well-oiled machine here with the structure of school every day. Well, as long as you are not counting yesterday when I walked into the kitchen to discover that my five year old son had dumped the entire bag of pretzel crumbs and SALT all over the kitchen floor and left it there for his unsuspecting mother to discover after being knee deep in it. That was not so well-oiled now that I think about it…

Here are my goals for the week:

Spiritual Goals:

  • remain current in Bible study
  • research new OBS

Wife Goals:

  • try to keep my head above water with hubby’s new school schedule for the next eight weeks
  • see the above bullet point.ugh.nursing school is just no fun at ALL

Mom Goals:

  • take 3 kids out for a date night this week
  • reinstate 10 minutes with each kid

Healthy Living Goals:

  • run 7 miles
  • row for 45 minutes

Homemaking Goals:

  • finish washing upstairs windows and do kitchen windows
  • finish making salsa

Office Manager Goals:

  • pay all bills
  • organize file baskets

Work Goals:

  • complete editing ebook
  • read a chapter a day in two books

Overall I did well, and I even added in a couple of new projects that I hate – washing blinds and windows. The spirit moved me, so I figured I better jump on it when I was feeling motivated! A solid B+ for me this week!

Spiritual Goals:

  • remain current in online Bible study group
  • recopy Bible verse cards

Wife Goals:

  • date night on Thursday
  • complete all scheduling and financial information for next semester

Mom Goals:

  • spend 10 minutes with 4 kids each day
  • complete 8th grade grading

Healthy Living Goals:

  • run 9 miles on the weekend
  • drink 100 ounces of water a day
  • establish a new leg workout

Homemaking Goals:

  • complete calendar set up for the year
  • clean up storage room

Office Manager Goals:

  • deal with credit protection
  • file more papers

Work Goals:

  • complete assignments
  • post new Fitness Friday workout
  • complete graphics
