I have shared my recipe for 7 layer Mexican dip before, but because one Mexican dip isnโ€™t enough, today I am sharing my 8 layer taco dip! Sounds tasty, right?! Trust me, it is.

Many of these dips have 7 layers, but this one just needed 8 because 7 was just too ordinary ๐Ÿ™‚

This is a staple at our Super Bowl party every year, but in all honesty, I could make this every week and eat it all myself. I like that you can make most of it ahead of time and then assemble it when you are ready. I am all about muti-tasking and meal prep!

This 8 layer taco dip is to die for!

For this recipe you will need:

  • 1 pound of ground beef, browned, drained, and seasoned with taco seasoning
  • 1 can of refried beans
  • 1 16 ounce container of sour cream
  • 1 16 ounce jar of taco sauce
  • 2 cups guacamole
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups tomatoes

Begin by preparing the ground beef. In the bottom of a 9×13 pan, spread the beans, sour cream, taco sauce, guacamole, cheese, ground beef, lettuce, and tomato.

Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
