My Smiling Eyes Boy turns three today. This is totally unbelievable to me. I’m sure you hear it all the time, but I will say again lik
e so many moms before me, that I truly have no idea where the time has gone.
It seems only fitting that this boy who gives me a run for my money every day gave me 15 hours of labor, which is unbelievable for baby #6. And these weren’t just 15 hours of labor, these were 15 hours of hard labor, and as someone who has spent more than 60 hours in labor with no drugs I do have a bit of 
credibility here.
As much as this boy has fire, this boy has sugar all wrapped up into one miniature sized person, and I say this because he is the size of a little flea. We joke that he may get carried away on a windy day!
This boy can scream at me one minute and then sweetly rub my face with his hand the next, and just when I think I’ve gotten him all figured out he does a presto-chango in a mere second.
The years go by faster and faster each year, and they go by faster and faster with each kid, too. As we celebrate the gift that is our spunky, feisty, and spirited boy, savor the sweet moments you have today with the ones you love.
It’s like you’re describing my baby, who also turned 3 recently 🙂 I never believed in terrible 2s until he came along! I thought 3 would be the end of it but I’m still waiting…..
