There is nothing like homemade cinnamon bread.
Boxed cereal is so expensive, even when you can find it on sale. For that reason, I try to only have it once every three days or so, making something for breakfast the rest of the days. This is a recipe for cinnamon bread that my kids named Ooey-Gooey Goodness Bread, and it is the most requested breakfast item in our house, too.

You will need:
- Loaf of white bread dough (I usually make 2 at one time, doubling the filling and dividing)
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Roll out bread dough into rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Spread dough rectangle with butter.
Mix sugars and cinnamon in a bowl and spread onto butter. Press down firmly.
Roll and pinch seam closed, fold ends under, place in bread pan sprayed with cooking spray. Cover with a damp towel and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Bake in 375 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until brown. Note: filling generally oozes out, so I place a drip pan in oven to avoid the mess.
