Today’s Verse

Colossians 4:6

Let your conversation always be full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

This verse is such a nugget of wisdom, so often we see verses like this in Proverbs.  I love this verse because I love the word picture that “seasoned with salt” paints, and I also love how it doesn’t differentiate between people at all.  We are to answer both those who are kind and those who are unkind, both those who are friends and those who are enemies with conversation that is full of grace – everyone.  A powerful reminder that we are called to model ourselves after Jesus no matter what the world or the people around us look like.
