We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
As we spend a week focused on the basics of homeschooling, I wanted today’s verse to focus on the diligence of homeschooling both on our part and on the part of our children. It is important for both parents and children to keep focused on the gift that is this high calling, and that through faith and patience we will finish this high calling well, and for the betterment of us all.
Verses about laziness are always ones that can spark an important discussion with younger kids in how important it is to always try our best in everything we do because even God tells us that if we are not, we are being lazy.
