Are you feeling tired and weary? Are you looking for some encouragement in getting your week off to a great start? Me, too, and this is one of my favorite verses for that.

This was actually something that we said in church as a benediction for awhile, so I know that young kids can memorize this one, even though it can look a bit long at first glance.

When the week or even the day seem long, this can be a great verse to call upon, which makes it a great verse to memorize.

Let’s spend some time anchoring our week with our kids in this life-giving truth.

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
