weekly goals

Well, I made it through last week, which is the busiest week of my entire year. The week was not without some additional roadblocks, however, but isn’t that always the way?

I couldn’t even begin to count the number of times that I was in and out of my car, but it had to be well over 100.

My weekend was filled with my adventure race, which I was again glad to have behind me. Generally I spend a few days before the race just getting mentally ready, but there was no time for that!

Posting my goals and being held accountable to everyone here as well as to Crystal’s folks over at Money Saving Mom really helps me stay motivated to getting things done. If you don’t have anyone to be accountable to for your goals, I highly suggest it. You can let us know here in the comments.

If you haven’t read my post on setting goals, that could be a great place to start.

This week I have another out of the ordinary week since we are going out of town for the weekend. I have been getting the packing started using the method I talked about in my post about packing without stress, and you can also find my master packing list posted here. Having these things on hand for use anytime we go anywhere saves me so much time (and brain space!).

So excited to get away, but so busy with everything that needs to get done. Always a catch-22.

Here are my goals for the week:

Spiritual Goals:

  • catch up on scripture memory
  • read chapter in book

Wife Goals:

  • date night Wednesday
  • get caught up on school scheduling

Mom Goals:

  • shopping with oldest
  • organize high school planner

  • eat less junk food
  • drink 100 ounces of water

Homemaking Goals:

This is how I did last week. Overall I give myself a B, especially considering my CRAZY week. It’s all about grace, remember?!

  • copy Bible verses

  1. I need accountability although I think I’m getting better at reaching my goals and holding myself accountable and writing them down!

    1. That great, Dana. I do think it gets easier as well. Always good to write them down for sure!
