Creating a menu plan is not only an efficient way to streamline the meals in your home, but it is also one of the key components in being able to feed your family on a budget. If you are like me, indecision is so exhausting, and I have such a hard time coming up with “what’s for dinner” in these moments.
Because I have kids home with me all day every day because of homeschooling, adding in the meal plan for breakfast and lunch is also essential. These meals are often things I prepare the night before, or they are things that my older kids can make on their own. Having them written down means that they can just start preparing these meals without having to check in with me.
My menu plan is always based on what is on sale for the week, which is one of the steps I share in Menu Planning 101 Part One and then Menu Planning 101 Part Two. These can be a great resource for you in creating your own menu plan.
