Making a menu plan is one of the most vital tips for staying within the family food budget. Meal planning allows us to make less trips to the store, match up what we are making with what is on sale, and avoid impulse buying or eating out when life gets in the way.
Menu planning is also a MAJOR stress reducer since we only have to think once about what to make for meals – and we are not trying to come up with what’s for dinner when our family is demanding you answer the “what’s for dinner” question countless times.
If you are looking for some help in creating your own menu plan, I broke the process down into specific, easy to follow steps in Menu Planning 101 Part One and Menu Planning 101 Part Two.
