weekly menu plan

If you have read my posts on Menu Planning 101 Part One and Menu Planning 101 Part Two, I shared there how I always take my calendar for the week into account when I am scheduling meals. This way I don’t have meals scheduled that would be impossible for me to prepare because I am not at home to make them or a nice meal with no one home to eat it.

Here is my menu plan for the week:

Breakfasts:

Monday: waffles

Tuesday: bagels, toast

Wednesday: cereal

Thursday: eggs and toast

Friday: waffles

Saturday: cereal

Sunday: puffed pancake

Lunches:

Monday: sandwiches

Tuesday: leftovers

Wednesday: tortilla pizzas

Thursday: mac and cheese

Friday: sandwiches

Saturday: tuna

Sunday: tortillas and cheese

Dinners:

Monday: brats and hot dogs, cole slaw, chips

Tuesday: chicken enchilada, guacomole

Wednesday: baked potato bar, salad bar

Thursday: spaghetti, garlic bread, Olive Garden salad

Friday: burgers and fries

Saturday: leftovers

Sunday: frozen pizza

    1. Hi Jennifer! Snacks really aren’t something we do. With my kids, it just keeps them from eating at the next meal no matter what they eat or when they eat it! If we do them, however, we just keep them really simple like some fruit or vegetable of some kind.
